Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that Pakistani forces conducted two airstrikes overnight in Kandahar, damaging a wall and an old container at a drug rehabilitation center and reported no casualties, promising Afghan authorities will respond to what he termed a hostile act. The statement was released roughly 14 hours after the strikes. In contrast, P-AMs intelligence sources allegedly confirmed that multiple militant-linked sites in Kandahar were struck during the operation, including Camp Gecko (described as a major militant compound), a training facility linked to al-Qaeda, the provincial headquarters of the GDI, the Abu Dujana training camp used by TTA and TTP militants, and the 205th Al-Badr Corps military garrison, with ongoing assessments of the damage at these sites.
