Pakistan expresses support for Xiamen as host of the BBNJ Secretariat at UN side-event

Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, attended a UN side-event organized by the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources of China and the government of Xiamen City. In his remarks, he reaffirmed Pakistan's backing for Xiamen to host the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) Secretariat and extended his best wishes for China's successful campaign.
