I spoke with my brother, President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, to convey warm Eid-ul-Fitr and Nowruz greetings to him and the brotherly people of Iran. As a neighboring brotherly country, Pakistan expressed solidarity with the brave Iranian people, offered deep condolences for the loss of precious lives, and prayed for the swift recovery of those injured and displaced. We discussed the grave situation in the Gulf region and agreed on the urgent need for de-escalation, dialogue, and diplomacy. I underscored the importance of unity in the Ummah and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to playing a constructive role in advancing peace in the region.
