Pakistan's Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, dismissed Taliban claims that a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul was struck, labeling the assertion baseless and a deceptive record. He asserted that the March 16, 2026 airstrikes in Kabul and Nangarhar targeted military and terrorist infrastructure used to plan and support attacks, including ammunition depots, technical sites, and militant-linked installations. Tarar emphasized that no hospitals or civilian facilities were targeted, and that secondary explosions indicated precise and professional execution. He pointed to video footage released by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as evidence of the targets. Tarar argued that Taliban propaganda relies on old visuals and false narratives, and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue strikes against terrorist networks across the border to protect its citizens and neutralize threats.
