The session reviewed macroeconomic indicators, energy imports and logistics, refinery output, and current fuel stock levels, and explored contingency measures to ensure an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products. Participants emphasized coordinated efforts across federal agencies, provincial administrations, and security services, and considered policy options to stabilize prices, manage distribution, and safeguard energy security amid regional developments. The meeting established a framework for information sharing, monitoring, and rapid decision-making to respond to evolving Gulf-related dynamics and their potential impact on Pakistan's economy and energy supplies.
