This evening, I spoke with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to convey warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to him and the people of Egypt. The dialogue reaffirmed the strong, brotherly ties between Pakistan and Egypt and acknowledged Egypt’s constructive role in advancing peace efforts in the Middle East. We also discussed the evolving situation in Iran and the Gulf region, and both sides stressed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement to de-escalate tensions and restore peace and stability. The exchange highlighted mutual commitment to regional security, expanded bilateral cooperation, and shared goals for stability and prosperity.
